The Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Co-operatives and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development Hon. Simon Chelugui was accompanied by Principal Secretary of State Cooperatives Mr. Patrick Kilemi, Bungoma Governor H.E Kenneth Lusaka, who is also the COG Agriculture Chair and Vice Chair Nyeri Governor H.E Mutahi Kahiga, during a tour to CENICAFE-Central National Research Institute of Coffee Research Centre in Chinchina, Caldas, Colombia on a high-level coffee exposure visit.
This is in a bid to strengthen research, extension services, coffee value addition, and coffee marketing for the benefit of Kenyan Coffee farmers.
