Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development Hon. Simon Kiprono Chelugui officially closed Embu Pre-Madaraka Day Expo that runs from 26th to 30th May 2023 at Embu University Grounds, which was officially launched by His Excellency the President.
The focus for this year’s Madaraka Day Celebrations held in Embu County was on Cooperatives, MSMEs, Trade, and Revenue.
The Ministry was given the responsibility to interpret the celebration-themed, “Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)” by organizing various activities culminating in the main celebrations on 1st June 2023.
The Ministry organized the following; Cooperatives/MSMEs Expo, Daily themed discussions to rub through the same period, and organizing and Exhibiting SDC activities among others.
The Expo gives local exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products ranging from handcrafted artwork to new innovative technological advancements and achievements in various fields.
