Patrick Kilemi attended SACCOs Consultative breakfast meeting on preparedness status for the 23rd SACCA congress. The African Confederation of Co-operative Savings and Credit Association (ACCOSCA) is organizing the 23rd SACCA (Savings and Credit Cooperative Annual) Congress to be held from 8th-13th October 2023 at Gaborone, Botswana. Emphasis is placed on the importance of Kenyans attending the SACCA Congress. Kenya will be receiving the mantle to host the 24th SACCA Congress 2024. The CS noted that High-ranked Cooperative CEOs from America to visit in November 2023. SACCOs to be visited include Kenya National Police SACCO, Boresha SACCO, and Imarisha SACCO. In attendance: Commissioner for Co-operatives Development Mr. David Obonyo, SASRA CEO Mr. Peter Njuguna, ACCOSCA Executive Director Mr. George Ombado, CEOs and Chairpersons of various SACCOs, Ministry of Co-operatives senior officials, among other delegates who graced the occasion.
